Indian Wells 4th round preview & predictions

Victoria Azarenka v Julia Goerges - Azarenka was back to her best in her third round win over Svetlana Kuznetsova in the last round, but faces another tough challenge in the big serving German.  Goerges has started to string wins together, but does not have a great record against Azarenka having lost their last two encounters in straight sets.  I think this will be there tightest match by far, but I believe Goerges will have to play the match of her career to break down Azarenka and her incredible winning streak.
Prediction - Azarenka in 2 tight sets

Agnieszka Radwanska v Jamie Hampton - Radwanska has strolled through the tournament so far beating off dangerous opponents in Sorana Cirstea and Flavia Pennetta.  Hampton has had a stunning week so far beating off three players ranked higher than her.  However I cannot see Radwanska being troubled at all in this one and predict a walk in the park for the new world number 5.
Prediction - Radwanska in 2 sets

Christina McHale v Angelique Kerber - This is the most interesting match on tomorrow's schedule between two in-form players on the WTA tour.  Kerber received a walkover in the last round when Vania King pulled out with illness, meanwhile McHale scored one of her most impressive wins to date against Petra Kvitova.  Both players have solid baseline games and are tactically astute on court.  I think it will go three sets and I will give a very narrow edge to Kerber.
Prediction - Kerber in 3 sets

Klara Zakopalova v Li Na - Li Na won her first match at Indian Wells since 2009 in the second round and looked to be gaining some form with a comprehensive victory over Zheng Jie.  Zakopalova benefited from Vera Zvonareva's withdrawal in the last round, but should not be underestimated in this one.  She has in fact beaten Li in their two previous encounters including a thumping in Doha last year.  I think Zakopalova will start off strong, but Li will manage to turn things around in the end...
Prediction - Li in 3 sets
Agnieszka Radwanska
