Hamburg, Bastad, Bad Gastein & Bogota Finals: That's a wrap!

Serena Williams
All four finals took place on Sunday with Fabio Fognini, Serena Williams, Yvonne Meusburger and Ivo Karlovic in the winners circle.  Fognini won his second title in two weeks as he completed the Stuttgart-Hamburg double with a come-from-behind win, which included saving three match points against Federico Delbonis, 4-6 7-6(8) 6-2.  Both finalists had really great weeks and Fognini will now break the top 20.  Serena won her first WTA tour International event as she defeated home favourite, Johanna Larsson, 6-4 6-1.

Yvonne Meusburger will now crack the top 60 as she won her first ever WTA title in Bad Gastein, a tournament she has reached at least the quarter-finals of in all seven appearances, with a straight sets win over Andrea Hlavackova in the final.  And finally a massive heads up to Ivo Karlovic, who having been diagnosed with viral meningitis earlier this year, took the title in Bogota in just his second week back on the tour... that is an incredible achievement and one of the most uplifting stories of the year for sure.
