Incredible scenes saw David Nalbandian defaulted from the Queens Final, which handed the title to Marin Cilic. As Nalbandian led 7-6 3-4, he kicked an advertising board and drew blood from a linesman. The Queens crowd were furious during the post-match presentation as they booed the tournament director, but it should have been Nalbandian they were booing because he had to be disqualified for his actions. He apologised in his interview with Sue Barker, but went onto criticise the ATP, which was not the time for it. I completely agree with the commentator Andrew Castle (for once!) in that Nalbandian was totally in the wrong and that he should just have apologised and left it at that.
