Eastbourne is coming to a close for another year and just like 2012, a surprise womens finals is on the cards. Jamie Hampton overcame Caroline Wozniacki in a marathon semi-final, 6-7(8) 7-5 6-3 to set up a final with Elena Vesnina, who tore past Yanina Wickmayer, 6-2 6-0. Both have had excellent weeks, but I am inclined to go for Vesnina since Hampton has had to come through qualifying and endured two extremely long matches in the quarters and semis. Gilles Simon and Feliciano Lopez will contest the mens final after both came through their semi-finals in straight sets. I am going for Lopez in that one, which will be a key match considering they will play each other in the first round of Wimbledon.
