Men's US Open - Awesome Fed storms into SF's

Roger Federer put in a sensational performance as he defeated nemesis Robin Soderling, 6-4 6-4 7-5 in their Quarter-final at the US Open. Federer served superbly well and looked close to his best as he won all the crucial points of the match. Soderling did manage to break and lead 5-3 in the third set however three errors destroyed his game and Federer from then on had the edge and took the match. Federer will now play Novak Djokovic who put in an equally impressive performance against a disappointing Gael Monfils, 7-6 6-1 6-2. After a tight first set in which Monfils was a break up, he disintegrated as he went out with a whimper making numerous dashes into the net only to be passed by the classy Djokovic. Federer and Djokovic will face off in the US Open for the fourth consecutive year with Federer prevailing in all of those encounters. Both players have displayed impressive form in their last two matches so i am expecting a high quality affair; i'm going for Federer to win in 4 sets and reach the final.
