My plans for the summer of tennis in 2012

June is my favourite month of the year as it is the only opportunity I have to watch some live tennis! I am already planning ahead and have booked my first tickets for 2012 for the AEGON International in Eastbourne. This will be my third visit to Eastbourne and I will be going on the Tuesday, which is normally packed with some exciting first round matches.

For the first time, you can view the range of tickets available and pick your exact seats here. I have picked seats in the South stand for this year :-) It is disappointing to note that this year, you have to pay to watch matches on the second court with just one stand of unreserved seats for centre court ticket holders.  Despite these changes, the prices are very reasonable compared to Queens, which I believe is horrendously overpriced.  Tickets for centre court on the first two days of main draw action at Eastbourne are priced at £27 and these are what I consider to be the best days if you want to see the top names and enjoy some action on the outside courts too.

I am looking forward to some exciting tennis and taking lots of pictures to help contribute towards my blog for the next year! I am still planning the rest of my schedule for the Summer but I have also been lucky enough to get tickets for the Olympics at Wimbledon in July so there will be a number of trip reports to look forward to in 2012 :-)
