ATP Toronto - Murray beats both Nadal, Fed

Andy Murray produced some of his best performances of the season to retain his title in Toronto after defeating Nalbandian 6-2 6-2 in the QF, Nadal 6-3 6-4 in the SF and finally Federer 7-5 7-5 in the final. Murrays most impressive performance came in the QF where he beat the in-form with an assured display of attacking tennis. Murray showed a real improvement in his form this week and it was especially good to see him play attacking tennis and taking the game to both Nadal and Federer. This will give Murray a lot of confidence as he goes in search of his first GS title, however i still have my doubts at a GS whether Murray can raise his level in the real big matches. This is because we have seen this year that both Nadal and Federer can raise their game at a GS but Murray has yet to do that and hopefully Murray can draw on the confidence of this tournament to challenge at the US Open.
