WTA Copenhagen Preview

Caroline Wozniacki will headline this weeks Copenhagen Open in her home country of Denmark. She is joined by the likes of Na Li, Petra Kvitova and Julia Goerges in what should be another interesting WTA tournament. This tournament has been much hyped for Wozniacki and she will look to impress the home crowds in Copenhagen in what is her first performance since a disappointing Wimbledon. It is hoped that she has used this time to good effect in improving her game before her 1R match against Petra Martic.

On the other side of the draw, Na Li is coming off the back of another strong GS showing and she will open up against Pliskova. I would give Na Li the edge as the favourite for this tournament however there are several other names to look out for. Petra Kvitova will look to regain some form against Sorana Cirstea; however i'm tipping Cirstea to put in another good showing here after a QF appearance at Istanbul last week. Also look out for Johanna Larsson who has started to put some solid wins together and Julia Goerges who won her first tournament a couple of weeks ago in Austria. Whatever happens, it should be a good tournament and all eyes will be on Caroline Wozniacki in what many are calling, "The Wozniacki Open".
